GCSE results

23 Aug 2012

The examination results will be available from school (The Learning Centre) from 10am until 12pm. Students will be asked to sign for their results on collection.

The results are sent to the school from the examinations boards electronically and downloaded into the school database; they are not in a ‘hard copy’ format.  Students will receive a statement of results which will be printed from the school database and will include the details of all GCSE exams taken over this summer.  The GCSE results statement will be printed on school headed paper and can be used for sixth form admission.

Students who have studied a diploma programme will receive a second statement detailing all units which have been passed, and those who have BTEC qualifications will again receive a separate statement.

If students have notified the Exams Officer that another person will be collecting their results on their behalf, the nominated person will be required to show proof of identity on collection of the results. We are not in a position to send results via email, as this is not a secure method.

Any uncollected results will automatically be posted to the student’s home address.
