OVER £800 RAISED FOR SPORT RELIEF BY YEAR 11 STUDENTS

A very big well done to the Year 11 students who raised over £800 for Sport Relief by running a 26.2 mile marathon following a Humanities lesson by Ms Madan at school.

Following the Marathon, Ms Madan set up a Justgiving website:-

and details were provided of the local Sport Relief contact who was happy to participate in any celebration organised.

The Marathon Challenge had four runners and six others accompanying on bicycles on 18th March in cold, foggy conditions. They were accompanied by Nick Mansley who was training for the London Marathon and Nick Walker on bicycle.

Four runners :- Adam Duncan, Kai Visser, Theo Walker and Sam White

Six cyclists:- Tommy Chang, Ben Greensmith, Matthew Magbanua, Ben Mansley, Rowan Page, Anthony Wong.
