Our goal at the Parkside Federation is to establish our partnership of schools as local, national and international lifelong centres of excellence.
In our schools we have high expectations of all our students and aim to provide them with the best teaching and support that a dedicated staff can offer. We are both demanding and liberal and want our students to develop into articulate and confident young people with clear personal and professional goals.
We want our schools to be small, human scale environments and to foster the positive relationships that enable teachers to know their students well. We believe that:

- Each learner’s particular needs should be met and all aspects of development, creative, emotional, moral, spiritual as well as intellectual and physical should be encouraged.
- The learning process should be active, participative and relate to the young person’s own experience.
- The learning community should be underpinned by environmentally sustainable values and practices.
- Families and the local community are vital partners in the life of the school.
- A school is a community in which all share in decision making.
