History

Parkside School

Parkside Community College is situated in the centre of the city, adjacent to Parker’s Piece. Originally the Higher Grade Schools in Melbourne Place (1913), it became the Central School for Boys and Girls and the Girls’ Grammar School, becoming a co-educational comprehensive in 1974.

Coleridge School

The Coleridge Community College situated in Radegund Road, initially opened as two separate schools for senior boys and senior girls in September 1937.
